Preparing Files For CNC Routing

Step 1 — Send Your File or Idea for a quote

  • Acceptable formats: .svg, .dxf, .step .stp, .stl, .pdf or even sketches.

 

  • We help finalize dimensions, correct geometry, and optimize nesting to reduce waste and machine time.

 

 

Step 2 — We Cut & Process Your Parts

  • Machined on industrial CNC router for precision and consistency.

 

  • Vacuum table ensures no movement

 

  • Optional: sanding, labeling, drilling, edge cleanup, or assembly prep.

Step 3 — Accurate Parts for Assembly & Delivery

  • Parts are delivered accurate clean & ready for assembly

Additional CNC File Checklist

File Types:

Best type for 2D: .svg, .dxf.

 

Best type for 3D is .step, .stl, as assemblies one file.

 

Best other type: .ai other vector, .pdf, images / sketch references.

 

 

Units & Scale: 

Export in mm for SVG/DXF.

 

 Check scaling when importing into other programs; mismatched units or DPI can cause size errors.
 

Exporting from Adobe Inkscape or others can have different DPI.

Recommended Working Thickness Range: 1/16" to 5"

 

Tolerances: Generally ±0.005" – ±0.015" depending on material, tooling, and geometry
